I just finished the January 2022 intro course and purchased the series and am very interested in seeing if I can turn this into something I can market.

I have made handmade cards for years and my regular handwriting is nice. It doesn't add the extra "jazz" I am looking for though so I have been wanting to learn calligraphy (for years) to up the quality/appeal of my cards. I am really excited about this aspect. This video was so helpful!! It gave me confidence to go ahead and start marketing myself. I actually have done placecards for a few friends weddings for free, and loved it. Excited to start marketing that and maybe adding in vows as well.

I have a question that is a prerequisite to answer before even getting to this point- how to get clients?? I am an introvert with a small group of friends and acquaintances, and I'm not good at marketing myself, plus now that I'm in my 30s, the number of people I know who are getting married has dwindled significantly, so weddings aren't happening as frequently around me anymore. I could see myself doing custom art more likely than weddings, but even so, I just don't know people who value art enough to pay what it's worth.
